An unnamed Indian man is quoted in a newspaper article as saying that he has spent his life looking for a new outfit and found it all but impossible to find one.
According to the Times of India, the unnamed man, who is unemployed, found that the thrift shop in his neighbourhood had just closed down and the store was selling new items.
“When I got home and tried on the clothes I couldn’t find anything that I wanted, so I bought something from the thrifty section of the store,” he said, adding that he decided to buy a suit from the store after the news of the closure spread online.
The article also states that the man has asked the store for an explanation, saying that the shop had stopped selling the items they had been selling.
“I am now left without a suit to wear,” he added.
